Shank French Drain Project

The Shank's reached out to us to formulate a solution for their new home in the Scotts Mill neighborhood in Apex.  When we arrived at their beautiful new home, we saw wash out from their yard onto their walkway.  We collaborated with the customer to install a french drain which would direct water away from their walkway to the natural bed on the left side of their property.  We installed a catch basin to gather flowing water, direct that to our drain and direct that water to a natural bed.  Additionally, we installed the french drain piping covered in wash stone to absorb water to direct it to the bed.  Finally, we installed turf type tall fescue sod over the top of the drain, aerated, and seeded the remaining yard.
